🌸 God, Hormones, and Hot Flashes

Let’s talk about it, sis - the season of hot flashes, mood swings, and random tears in the grocery store aisle 😅. I don’t know who needs to hear this today, but menopause is not for the weak! It’s like our bodies hit “reset” and forgot to send us the manual. One minute we’re fine, the next we’re fanning ourselves in church wondering if it’s the Holy Spirit or just estrogen leaving the building 😂🔥
And let me tell you - I’m not new to this. I’m in year six of this wild hormonal roller coaster 🙃. Year six! At this point, I deserve some kind of trophy or at least a T-shirt that says, “Still standing, still sweating, still saved.”
But here’s the thing: even in this season - the hormones, the brain fog, the sleepless nights - God is still faithful. He doesn’t waste a single part of our womanhood, not even the messy middle of it. I’ve learned that the same God who walked with me through heartbreak, healing, and redemption… is right here in the middle of my hot flash, whispering, “Daughter, you are still radiant.” 💛
This stage of life has actually made me slow down, breathe deeper, and listen closer. It’s made me lean into grace like never before - grace for my body, grace for my emotions, and grace for the days I just need to cry it out and take a nap.
If you’re walking through menopause, perimenopause, or any hormonal chaos right now - hear me: you’re not broken. You’re being renewed. God is doing a new thing, even as our bodies change.
So grab your fan, your faith, and your favorite iced coffee ☕️. We’re going to walk through this season glowing from the inside out - because peace with God looks good on us. ✨
Scripture:
💛 “She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” ~ Proverbs 31:25
